Fortunately, no individuals involved were injured in the crash. Authorities investigated the crash with help from the driver of the car of contact's dashcam and all of the individual's statements. The trooper states that it was an 'error', while the ASP officials admit that it was a TVI(Tactile Vehicle Intervention.) The trooper uses this law-enforced technique, in pursuit of stopping two vehicles going over 100 mph on the interstate. After the crash happened, on September 10, the trooper was relieved from duty until recently submitting his letter of retirement. KARK


    2. Two women were found dead only days apart from each other, in the downtown Los Angeles apartments. While one death is not officialized as anything other than a homicide at the moment, the police investigate in question if the two deaths are related. On September 10, 31-year-old Maleesa Mooney was found dead in her apartment; the police say it was a homicide. Only a few days later, the police found 32-year-old Nichole dead in her apartment. The police say that it is an "undetermined death at this point." Police are unable to connect the two at this time, but it stays in question as the families fight for justice for their lost loved ones. ABC


    3. A former Arkansas educator was sentenced after being caught and trialed for sexual assault involving a minor student. 42-year-old Labrada Vann, a recent former Vice President at the  Horatio High School, was arrested with the statement of first-degree sexual assault and a six-year term in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. The arrest occurred in April 2022, but the article bringing light to Vann's arrest was published recently. Fox16 




    4. For my swifties and my Blake Lively fans, the two fabulous celebrities were seen hanging together for a 'Girls Night Out' in N.Y.C, this weekend. Taylor Swift, the pop-country artist, and Blake Lively, the amazing actress of a quite a few big films, such as The Shallows and Gossip Girl, decorated the streets in their cardigans(hence the pun), mini skirts, and bright accessories. peoplemagazine



5. Quorm Court ponders raises for Columbia County employees. The vote made by the Columbia County Quorum court is to raise the elected official's pay by 15 percent and all employees by 10 percent. The current minimum wage in Columbia County is at $11/hr, which would increase by $1.01 if the ordinance is approved. Magnolia Reporter 


    6. Clevland Browns defensive running back, Nick Chubbs, was tackled at an extremity during the NFL game against the Steelers. The Steelers safety, Minkah Fitzpatrick, tackled Chubbs, #24, and distorted his knee in a terrible position. The camera crew refused to display his injury on television, claiming that it was too disturbing to be seen. Back during the 2015 season, Chubbs suffered from a knee injury while playing college football, which happened to be the same knee injured on Monday night. On TikTok, people all over the world are indulging in the trend of following influencers and their reviews on items from TikTok shop, such as the 'unbrush' brush, curling irons, and makeup products. TikTok shop sells and resells current trending products. For marketers and advertisers, it will become difficult to stick to traditional ads and blogs reviewing popular products, considering the amount of publicity these influencers are receiving from posting videos of their Tiktok shop purchases. Tiktok

During a fundraiser for the President of the United States, Biden tells a theatre full of big-time stars that he is running for president again because former president, Donald Trump, is going to destroy the nation if elected president in 2024.     10. Rudy Giuliani, a former New York mayor, has recently been sued by lawyers, claiming that he owes $1.4 million in unpaid legal fees. Giuliani has been receiving payments for legal services since 2019, which have been provided by Costello's firm(a law firm.) The firm delivered direct deposits of over $1.5 million, of which Giuliani only paid $214,000 of it.     11. Multiple wildfires have swept across Maui, destroying Hawaii's second-largest island, and killing at least 97 people. These wildfires have been reported as one of the nation's deadliest disasters. The initial count of those still missing is no more than 40, but, Maui County has identified 65 of the people, reliving some families, and devastating others even further.     12. Five American prisoners were wrongly detained in Iran and have been fighting for their freedom back in the United States. The government of the states and the government of Iran agreed on a prisoner swap, which led to the two governments dealing with Iran having access to $6 billion in unfrozen Iranian oil assets in a swap of the five prisoners being returned back to their homes and families. cbsnews
